Protein builds, maintains, and replaces the tissues in our body. We possess at least 20,000 different proteins and sometime one of them have a malfunction. It is a mutation. Most of the time it is not a problem but it is possible that induce a disease like cancer. Cancers are very bad disease where a part of the body become crazy and grow without ending. Cancers are very hard to cure.
We do not know all the proteins and all the mutation. My work consists to understand the effect of one mutation that we find only in womb cancer.
With this work, we will increase our knowledge on cancer that will permit to find cure more efficient.

A thing that I like in science is the fact that all the days and the weeks are not the same. It depends of what I need to study. For example, one week I need to understand if two proteins can interact together. To do that I will perform several experiments. Once I have the answer I will maybe use some very precise microscope to see where the proteins are in the cells.
When I have answered at all my question, I need write an article to explain to the other scientist what I have discovered. In parallel, I take some time to explain at a school class what I do.
