Finding out brand new things that no one has ever known before. It’s the best!

Definitely for me it’s learning new lab techniques and trying out some of the new lab equipment. For example, I have never done fluorescent microscopy before and I’ll be trained soon on how to do it – exciting!

The best thing about being in research is knowing that you are working at the edge of what we all know, and that you have the freedom to experiment to try and learn more about it! Also the possibility to work with lots of different people from all over the world in a very collaborative and open way
